All Talk Psychology is located in Potts Point, in the heart of Sydney.

In this intimate practice, we help people struggling with anxiety, depression, phobias, trauma or other problems in living.

A good and trusted relationship with your psychologist is the best starting point for change and recovery. When we first meet a client, we begin with listening to what our client tells us.  Then we work together with that client to plan their way forward, using treatments that are based on scientific research and best practice.

Each person has a unique set of circumstances that have contributed to their depressed mood, anxiety, stress, phobia, grief or suicidal thoughts.  Examples of such circumstances are personality, genetic risks, trauma, childhood and family, work, friends, age, stress and life-transitions. In addition to our understanding and experience, All Talk Psychology can provide a detailed assessment to help determine the  treatment most likely to be effective. With your permission, this recommendation may be discussed with the referring doctor or psychiatrist to make sure we all work as a team.

We will help using empathy, understanding, mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  If you also have high emotional vulnerability and sometimes feel that you are a slave to  your emotions, then we offer the evidence-based Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). DBT, originally developed to treat Borderline Personality Disorder, is now widely applied to emotion-based disorders. Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based treatment thant may be helpful in processing traumatic material.

If we do our work well, then you receive care and support tailored uniquely to you and your circumstances.
